PERFORMANCE MUFFLERS
While there are other mufflers on the market which will fit our systems and work well, we find the Flowmaster and Walker mufflers to be hard to beat! We have carefully matched these mufflers with our systems for both fit and performance. Correct muffler selection is important. These are some of the best flowing and least restrictive performance mufflers available. We've found that generally both work equally well. The mufflers we sell are true 3½", 3" or 2½" mufflers. We do not sell mufflers which neck down internally!
Another important consideration for many is that of noise level. While we must remember these are performance mufflers (meaning they are not intended to be as quiet as stock mufflers) many of us still want some semblance of sound control.
Generally speaking, for any particular style muffler, the longer the case length, the quieter the sound from the muffler. Please keep in mind that any particular muffler can sound differently on different vehicles because of such things as cam profile, heads, headers, etc. In other words, just because a muffler sounds good on a buddy's car, doesn't mean that same muffler will sound the same on yours.

It has audio tracks of about 30 sets of muffs tested on the same engine setup. It also comes with a printout data sheet that shows flow data and sound level measurements on each muffler @ 750, 2200 and 3500 rpm. Some very valuable and "eye-opening" info!

All given muffler weights are approximate. We
highly recommend the Flowmaster mufflers. Flowmaster is a well-known name in
muffler performance.
Generally speaking the 3-Chamber Delta Flow Street/Strip units work well both on the street and at the strip. They are noticeably quieter than the 2-Chamber Delta Flow units and more pleasant for cruising. They also cut down somewhat on resonance within the vehicle. Performance usually does not suffer with the 3-Chamber units unless you are in the mid to low 11 second or quicker levels of 1/4 mile performance. All Flowmasters are aluminized for long lasting service. The Top Street units are for those who want good flow with noise control. They still give a nice rumble that we all like from a muscle car. Although Flowmaster has discontinued the Top Street Line (Series 30 or sometimes referred to as Top 10), we have some in 3" yet available.

Walker
Performance Mufflers

The offset inlet/Offset outlet design of the Super Dynomax mufflers give the least restrictive flow with the least amount of back pressure for normally aspirated engines. Our Hi-Flow systems were designed with this in mind.
In the 3" Walker line, the Super Dynomax
mufflers flow quite well with a reasonable sound level. The Ultra Flow Race
Magnum's flow a little better with the 575+ HP applications, but with a
considerably louder tone. Most 550 HP or less engines will probably see little
or no horsepower gains with either muffler. Gearing, engine RPM range and shift
point are considerations, also, In the 2½" Walker line, the same applies.
However, if you are looking for good flow and performance without going to the
Ultra Flo's, then try the Hemi Super Dynomax units. Being a
longer
case muffler than the regular Super Dynomax, they are somewhat quieter without
sacrificing performance
In general, the Walker Dynomax and Race Magnum's and the Flowmasters are for the most part, equal in performance. The Flowmasters and the Walker Race Magnums are the ticket for those who like the louder mufflers with the Super Dynomax units the ticket for those who want some sound control without sacrificing performance.
The 2½" Ultra Flow Race Magnum muffler opens up to 3" internally and
will flow slightly better than 2½" pipe. These are a great flowing muffler
and will be a "smidgen" quieter than the 3-Chamber Flowmasters, but
still sound really great!.

The Torque Tech Muffler
We
know these are really not mufflers, but what the heck! Another appropriate name
might be muffler substitutes.
They're for those who don't really want mufflers, just pipe all the way!
Each piece is 19" long and made to "substitute" in the place of any offset inlet/offset outlet muffler. They can be used with all of our GM &
Mopar systems or in any other way you can imagine.

MUFFLER OFFSET ADAPTER
This handy item allows one to use such mufflers
as the Race Magnum Bullets. Just install it between the front of this muffler,
or any similar muffler, and the end of the Head Pipe. They can also be used with
the Chambered Mufflers we sell (Power Sticks) so they will fit without
system. This piece can be used in
other ways also. Don't forget to purchase extra clamps if needed. Available in
3" and 2.5".
