We supply mounting hardware with all our Kits unless otherwise noted. All clamps are Zinc Coated and all Nuts, Bolts, & Washers are Stainless Steel for long lasting service. You may upgrade to Stainless U-Bolt or Stainless Band Clamps with any System.
Sometimes we get the question, "Can I use my stock hangers?" The answer is probably yes, IF the stock hangers and the location they are in, don't cause any problems with positioning of the system. If, for example, they cause the muffler end snout to be mounted a little too far outward away from the center of the vehicle than the design of the tailpipe was intended, then obviously you have to either move or adapt your stock hanger or use ours. Please remember, that our systems are Aftermarket and not stock replacement. We do try to exit in stock locations wherever possible, but especially on the GM A-Body vehicles, a lot of different locations were used and naturally we can't do tailpipes for every situation, as much as we would like to be able to.
Below you will find photos of the hardware used on many of the vehicles.
This shows the typical hanger end along with the modification to it so it will fit into the band clamp assembly. See next photo for finished look.
