NOTE: The Ram Air/HO Downpipes DO NOT fit the 428 Ram Air/HO Manifolds

NOTE: Ram Air/HO Downpipes - The Ram Air Manifolds utilize either both 2-Bolt mounting flanges or a 2-Bolt and a 3-Bolt flange. We need to know what you need. Special RamAir type Flanges are required. They are listed below. You will need to know if 2-Bolt or 3-bolt or 1 of ea is necessary..

NOTE: Chevy Big Block Downpipes are basically the same as the Olds 442 units. See Olds 442 photo  (Olds use 2-Bolt Flanges while Chevy Big Block use 3-Bolt Flanges).

All tubing we sell is Mandrel Bent -- meaning no Kinks!, anywhere!

Our Manifold Systems utilize the same Headpipes & Tailpipes as the Header Systems. The Downpipes are designed to come down off the manifolds and "blend" into the Headpipes. To see how the tailpipes fit, check out the appropriate Header Application page for photos.

Best place is as close to the headers as possible. It is also recommended to move the mufflers closer inward to enable some "tucking up" into the drive shaft tunnel area.)

If you already have the original RamAir Flanges, they may be used - slight honing of inside may be required to slip over 2.5" tubing.

Above Balance Tube Systems utilize 6 Zinc U-Bolt Clamps
Kits with X-Pipes utilize 4 or 6 Zinc U-Bolts -- Many customers upgrade Band Clamps at the front and rear of mufflers only & some at end of tailpipes with SS U-Bolt Clamps.
