Each System comes complete with Downpipes, Headpipes, Balance Tube, Tailpipes and all mounting hardware. * * Nuts, Bolts, Washers are Stainless and Clamps are Zinc Coated. Special Muffler Kit pricing applies just as when purchasing a complete Header System.
NOTE: The Ram Air/HO Downpipes DO NOT fit the 428 Ram Air/HO Manifolds
NOTE: Ram Air/HO Downpipes - The Ram Air Manifolds utilize either both 2-Bolt mounting flanges or a 2-Bolt and a 3-Bolt flange. We need to know what you need. Special RamAir type Flanges are required. They are listed below. You will need to know if 2-Bolt or 3-bolt or 1 of ea is necessary..
NOTE: Chevy Big Block Downpipes are basically the same as the
Olds 442 units. See Olds 442 photo

Our Manifold Systems utilize the same Headpipes & Tailpipes as the Header Systems. The Downpipes are designed to come down off the manifolds and "blend" into the Headpipes. To see how the tailpipes fit, check out the appropriate Header Application page for photos.
* * * If you do not see a system for your application, then you can purchase one of our Header Systems (less Collector Reducers) and have someone make Downpipes from your manifold down to meet our Headpipes,,,,,,,, OR if you have the desire and ability, purchase one of our "Make a Downpipe Kits" at the bottom of this page.

Best place is as close to the headers as possible. It is also recommended to move the mufflers closer inward to enable some "tucking up" into the drive shaft tunnel area.)
