Typical use of Band Clamp with Hanger
Typical
hanger (top) has a lip to keep the typical u-bolt clamp from slipping off. This needs to be flattened out as is shown (bottom) so it will slip between the bolts in the blocks
where the bands are tightened together.

DRIVE SHAFT SAFETY LOOP
Valuable Insurance! Have you ever seen the results of the front universal
joint disintegrating? For those who have, you know, its not a pretty sight and
the results will be harmful to both you and your vehicle. Basically what happens
is the driveshaft drops to the ground (pavement), digs in and flips the tail end
of the vehicle up in the air. Now imagine you're doing 80 mph or better when
this happens. The safety loop will simply prevent the drive shaft from dropping
to the pavement and "digging in". These units meet all sanctioning
body requirements.
A quality piece, zinc plated for rust protection, with all necessary bolts, washers and instructions. This is the same unit mounted on the A-Body Buick GS being shown on the A-Body Page. Some units on the market do not allow for many mounting variations and make mounting properly very difficult.

PERFORMANCE COLLECTOR GASKETS
These are the same gaskets we use with our systems. Made of a fiber type
material which resists burnout and blowout many times more than the standard
paper-type gasket. Just about eliminates gasket replacement. Available in
2.5", 3" and 3.5". You will also find that with the bigger systems, the tendency for pressure buildup immediately after the header in the collector reducer is
reduced. Partly because the system is bigger and allows the flow to pass on through and partly because of our Performance Collector Reducers which have a long gentle taper from the
collector size down to the exhaust tube size. This is important.
