Torque Tech Quality with American Materials Meeting Standards that can be counted on.
The Aluminized Steel used in the manufacture of our systems is made to industry standards. Manufacturing companies that adhere to these standards go through a time consuming, costly process to guarantee them. This enables those of us who use them to be assured of a given quality of the material.
Basically this does not happen in China and hence quality is always compromised. Why do you think they can manufacture, ship here to the States and still cost way less (one reason is cheaper labor, of course!).
When you see systems equivalent to ours in Stainless for less than our Aluminized Steel, then that is a "tip off" they are being made in China. Not knocking that, but buyer beware! If we made our systems in the same stainless (US grade), our cost would be more than what these "China Made" systems are.
We have thousands of customers who call saying their 15+ year old system is still like new. Friends, that says something, doesn't it?
To be honest, we occassionally have one call with a rusted out tailpipe; and when we do, we give 'em a great deal on replacemnts even though the cause may very well have been the octane additives used.
For long term quality, US quality materials are hard to beat!
When a company sells these "Made in China" systems and does not clarify that in advance nor do they state that on the material when the item comes to you, are basically misrepresenting their product to you. If they will do that, then what else will they be doing?
Of course, we could go to China too!
We don't simply because the Torque Tech reputation is at stake!
